Citizenship Award Winners

Students voted last week for a boy and a girl in our class who showed the greatest example of citizenship.  Stevie and Bethany received their award Friday at the awards ceremony.

Solar System Projects

 

We had some awesome solar systems turned in!  We had cake and cookies, mobiles, dioramas, and many creative ideas. Thanks to all the moms and dads who helped us put these projects together!

 

Kite Flying

Each student who reached their fourth quarter AR goal went kite flying on Friday.  Oddly enough there wasn't much wind up on the hill so we didn't get a lot of kites in the air.

Today we learned about capacity with gallons, quarts, liters, cups, fluid ounces, milliliters, and liters.  The vinegar was 1 pt, the hand sanitizer is 8fl oz or 236 mL, and the Frebreze is 800 mL or 27 fl oz.  I then sprayed the carpet with Frebreze...
