Building the Statue of Liberty
The third graders were divided into groups of three and then given a building material. They were to construct a model of the Statue of Liberty. Mr. Buchs came and checked out each entry and talked to its builders. The winners are below!
Oops this Statue of Liberty is upside down! This was the winning structure from the team of Philip, Edgar, and Jack.
This was the gumdrop structure that took second place. Congrats to Sadie, Sam, and Dylan!
This is the third place entry that was built by Traighton, Sophie, and Kameron. They were given base ten blocks to build with.
