Remembering 9-11

Here are a few things that we thought about on September 11th.
Today I am thinking about
  • the almost 3,000 people that died on September 11th.
  • the people who were brave enough to help others get out.
  • the people on Flight 93 who fought back.
  • the volunteers who helped clean up after the attacks.
  • the 343 New York City firefighters and 60 police officers who died on September 11th.
  • the people who built the memorial and museum at Ground Zero.
  • the brave firefighters and others who came to help.
  • the families of the people who died on September 11th.
  • the 125 people who died at the Pentagon.
  • the 256 people who were onboard the four airplanes on September 11th.
  • how America is a great place to live and grow up.
  • the ambulance workers and first responders who helped at the World Trade Center.
  • average Americans who stepped it up that day to help their fellow American in need.

Rewards

Quietest third grader ever! Yesterday we used the points we earned to buy coupons. Ty bought Fluffy Friend so he gets to spend the day with Yoda.
